Past Pottery...

Sarah said that I should post in another blog what we did at pottery this past Saturday. Well, it takes a week to get them back, but I thought I'd show you what I've done in the past. I think this is everything that I've done. (I'm sure Becky will remind me if I have forgotten anything!!) So, here you go and stay tuned next week for the newest one! (Oh, and Sarah, it is super fun to do...you should definately find a place to do it!!)

Thanks for the personalized post:) I was thinking the same thing as Becky, about doing it when you were here - know there's a place in Madison. Good idea, there! I'm afraid I would get there and have no idea what or how to paint something.

that's usually my problem too, sarah! i'm not very creative but if i see other ideas i eventually come up with something. just ask mom, ruthie, & becky about me sitting and contemplating how to paint once i decided on the piece i wanted to paint!!

I enjoy it too, Sarah, and feel like a fish out of water. Tammy's & Becky's turn out so pretty. My problem is that I don't know when to stop with the paint. You can't tell really what it will look like until it is glazed and fired. I try to take Becky's advice that "Less is more". It is just fun to do things like that together no matter how the thing turns out.
